Fabian Ewald is the President of MIB-Bayern (Mittelstand in Bayern), an association representing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bavaria. He also serves as a permanent member of the Association of Bavarian Business (VBW – Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V.), which unites 163 business associations and represents the interests of approximately 4.7 million employees across Bavaria.

In light of the deepening economic ties with Southeast Europe, Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Markus Söder officially inaugurated a VBW office in Tirana. Establishing a similar representation in Skopje would bring significant economic and cultural benefits, while further strengthening the partnership between Bavaria and North Macedonia.
